I saw these two pix that have one thing in common: my boys doing something for the first time. DJ ice-skating for the first time & Andy tying his shoes for the first time. There's something endearing about the first time. In my boys, I see fear mixed with wonder; courage mixed with doubt; and "can do" mixed with "will I?" Sometimes God can use first-time moments with kids to teach us (adults) so much--even a quick recap-lesson in Philippians 4:13!
