CRAZY PRAYERS

Boy, in my lifetime, has God heard some crazy prayers. I wonder if He sometimes laughs (in a good way) at my perpetual, preposterous prayers. Here's a sample:
1. God, please send one of your angels to Earth to guard so-n-so.
2. God, please take me home (sometimes, Heaven just sounds too good & I'll shoot straight with God about that).
3. God, please send a mate who is a Christian, hasn't lived a wild life, is OK with my craziness & wants to settle down & marry.
4. God, please help every single child on the entire planet who is being threatened right at this moment & please tend to every single one of them & let them know you see their tears.

Don't be afraid to give God your crazy prayers. He's ok with it. Really. "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

ahh man, God really does answer the craziest prayers huh? I prayed for a man that would love Him first, but it didn't end there...He had to be tall, strong, long hair,he *had to be* a musician and he had to be like me,English speaker from the west coast :).. A week later I *met* my husband...Eric is exactly what I asked for :)... (just remembering How HE loves us and all the prayers HE has answered, brings tears of joy to my life.)

Yes, some crazy prayers, but God always provides what we really need. Just enough to keep us close to him and dependent on Him. The cool part is what we THINK we need is not always what is BEST for us. Trust in Him in all circumstances...Prov 3:5-6 (My favorite verses in the bible)

I've definitely had my share of crazy prayers to God...my theory is He already knows what I'm thinking so I might as well shoot it straight, right?

My most recent example is actually a prayer for my daughter's mate. We've been praying for him since she was 4 yrs old...and when she turned 14 I had her make a list of what she wanted God to give her in a lifemate...a 100 things! She made the list and put some crazy things on there (she was running out of stuff)...God gave her 97 out of 100 in her new fiance'...including "sarcastic sense of humor." She told me the othre day..."I wish I hadn't put that on there...LOL"

Be careful what you pray for!
