I dig hats because...
-hats can turn around a bad hair day without selling you out that you're having one.
-hats (esp. weird ones) are great conversation starters.
-hats never go out of style.
-hats offer an artistic & creative outlet (try matching an Alpaca hat to an ensemble!)
-hat-fashion has no rules--so wearing them is liberating.
So I'm curious...what's your take on hats? You dig or don't dig?

it all started with my lucky "Directing" hat/
Wore them every day when I had no hair from cancer. Much more fun and chic than wigs! And then when I had hair, didn't want to cover it up for a while! Now, hats are back in my wardrobe. But not as cute as yours!
Hi Heather, some of youre hats remind me of some of the hats I saw @ woodstock back in the early 90's. Well there were alot of hats & outfits I saw that weekend. Well that I can remember.:) jeff

Today was a hat day. Late start which translates to bad hair day...what to do? Pulled that mess into a cute ponytail and put on my Hard Rock Cafe, Balad Iraq ball cap! Problem solved!!!
This topic reminds me of my mom, she was very much into hats and known for them..Wore one pretty much everyday of her life..She's been gone now almost 8 years & I did save a couple of them that remind me of her..When I go in my closet, they are there..And I remember.....
My hat is designed to keep the brutal sun off of my head and face. Funny, one day in 'da lot? It was cloudy for the exit so I was hatless. Minutes later the sun came out and a guest walked by me and said, "Hey man - where's your hat???"

I absolutely LOVE hats. My husband makes fun of me because I'm always trying to sport a hat (baseball caps, visors, cowboy....Whatever). LOVE THEM!!!!
How about Raul other than the elf ... I don't recall ever seeing him in a hat ... Is his hair always perfect?
