I grabbed this cartoon from a post at Church Crunch, and I think it's how we can feel sometimes. The writer went on to empathize, "Sometimes I wake up and feel like I’m done...I’ve got nothing to blog about...some of the comments recently have been disappointing...or my traffic numbers have fallen." But the writer also pointed out, "Let’s remember that blogging is a journey, with ups and downs and all-arounds. And where are you putting your personal value anyway?" I think that question makes a GREAT point!

HP, I think you blog is the start to many people's days. I don't ALWAYS comment due to time, or mood, however I read EVERYONE of them and love them. Don't get down on yourself. Thanks for the little reminder that our comments do make an impact. Have a safe trip home!!!
I was just reading this blog entry when I got your e with the link :-)
I read your blog every day and so admire your creativity and gift to see God in the everyday big and little things. Like Kristin, I don't comment sometimes due to time but I always read your posts.
peace, hope and love,
Lily :-)
I read your blog often, I just don't comment all the time... I would say once a week when you post on facebook you put a new blog up. I have had my blog for like 9 months and I only have like 4 comments. Kinda makes me feel like I am talking and knowone knows it. LOL But aside from that, I think like just happens and we get busy... I will keep reading yous...
TTFN,
Katie
I can totally relate to this. Sometimes I feel like giving up on my blog while other times a muse will gift me with a big ol' box of creativity. I find myself constantly asking myself "why do you blog?". That almost always keeps me going...
Great post HP.
Ditto to everyone else! Keep the blog coming. Sorry we don't express more often what an impact you have on each of us daily. What you do matters! :o)

AMEN Jenny!!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU......I COMPLETLY understand and have asked myself that question SEVERAL times. I've had A very difficult time with my blog (it stinks) lately :(
I've personally have gotten frustrated because i get zero comments.. And please hear me... I'm not looking for "comments" to boost my ego, but because my desire is to touch people, I'd like to know if someone is being helped. And when I hear, "oh, I love your blog" (crazy, huh); I kind of get frustrated because they don't leave me a comment (how am I gonna know "it's" working if I get no feedback.
And please know, I completely find my value and identiy in Christ alone........ (believe me, I've been on Insecure Ave....and God has lovingly reminded me to look up)
:o)
