Former Places of Employment

Is it just me or did any of you enter the workforce at 16 and go through like 20 jobs til college? Here are some of the fine establishments I worked for:
  • TJ Maxx
  • Burger King (accepted the position, but never showed up. That's so wrong!)
  • Sweet Street Ice Cream Shop
  • Walgreens
  • County Seat
  • State Farm
  • Rocky Rococo's
  • SunTanners tan spa
So where did you take your first job? (and BTW, if you are still AT your first job, you are incredible!)

1st job aside from paper routes and baby sitting: Quality Controlled Services, a market research firm doing phone surveys. Back in those days, we dialed by hand and we liked it!

I've been working since I was 16 and I've only worked at 3 places. My first job was at a small business that manufactured military airplane parts (Airpro Corp.). Then I worked for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Of course now I'm at FRC.
P.S: I still keep in touch with my ex-bosses. Kinda weird? Maybe.

Melanie - Hi friend!! You worked at the athletic club??? That's so cool. Do you remember Rocky Rococo's?? I love going down memory lane w/ ya!

Stacie - I am very impressed, girl. WOW! Only 3 jobs and you ended well. That speaks volumes of your leadhership. yea you

My first job was at a womens clothing store called Nat Allen..It was on Young Circle in Hollywood, circa 1970's. I lasted two weeks..They wanted me to work Saturdays and that was my beach day..At the time, a tan was way more important then a paycheck..
