The best toys in the world start off as piles, lumps, stacks: piles of tinker toys, lumps of play-doh, stacks of legos. They start off as nothing, but with concentration & imagination, they become something!
Today, we visited Lego Playland. As I watched hundreds of kids turn stacks of nothings into somethings, I had an epiphany:
"God, for 2009, please give me concentration & imagination to take nothings & make somethings! So that when anyone looks at what we've made, they can only say, 'Surely, that was God!'"

It also amazes me how children can make something out of virtually nothing. They take the time and imagine. I pray to slow down and see all the wonders that children see and to be creative given any situation I am in. Looking forward to our 2009 journey my Leadher friend!! Kristin
They can built what they can imagine for those legos.. I always said that everything strat out of nothing ,but if you dream ,as God does,His dream can become everything... lack of fear to create .Thank yu for you post. Have a great time and i hope your lung clear fast!!.

Haha..speaking of Legos. Entering my 11 yr old son Noah's room you might actually think you are in Lego Land. He has been building, designing and creating with these little blocks for years. His life's ambition; to be a Lego Designer. (no joke) I sat with him the other day while he was putting together his newest creation, a Star Wars cruiser. I picked up a couple pieces and he eyed me as to say "you don't know how to do this".....I gently reminded him that it was I, his mother that put together his crib.

Me and my bro played legos all the time when we were little. Actually, I still play with them sometimes, they NEVER get boring.
