Sunday Worship

Man, I've got to go to bed. Here's one final thought before I do:
Yesterday, when I got home from church, I asked DJ how his children's church was. Here's what he said, coupled with what I heard: "Mommy, blah blah....worship....blah, blah, blah....we worshipped...blah blah blah blah blah..." My heart and my mind were so mezmerized on the word "worship" coming out of this 5-year old, that I didn't hear anything else. You may be asking, "Does DJ actually know what worship is?" Yes. In his 5-year old mind, in his little corner of the world, he knows what worship is. I hope we know what it is in ours. If you haven't worshipped lately, go to the dictionary and look up the definition. Then go to God and ask Him to help you do it this week. Good night!

Amazing what kid's easily pick up on that we so blindly miss. The act of worship, more than just singing a song home-girl. It's a lifestyle.

When you place the seed on the soil, and you water it with love, care and example... the fruit will show for sure... to be consistent at home, at church, at school is key to lead him to reach his God's potential, is just starting!

Congrats!

Im new to your blog...not even sure how I found it. But boy am I glad I did.
Its a beautiful thing to know your child recognizes what a precious opportunity we have as believers.
How grateful you must be as his mother to know as young as he is, God is real to him.
Amazing

I just found this site....
Heather, I am DJ teacher on Sunday morning. I want you to know he is such a sweet kid.... He wants to sit by me in big group. He really is a great kid... He always has some little toy in his pocket to show me... Last week it was some shells from the beach in a bottle of water... And yes he knows what worship is.... He watches me do the little dances and I make silly little faces and he mimics my moves... You are blessed and I enjoy having him on Sunday mornings...

Hi Katie! Welcome and thank you SO much for stoppin' by. Let me just tell you....YOU are one of the ones leaving a legacy in my little man's life. YOU are one of the ones who he will someday say, "I am what I am today because of how people like Katie invested in me when I was little." So Katie, thank you. Words can not express.
