I'm not an
Apple groupie nor do I subscribe to the notion that we should be. But I'm also on a mission to find GREAT customer service. Today, I found it...with
Apple.
We all know what happened to my first iPhone; but something else happened to my second iPhone. I dropped it on its head & the on/off button got jammed up inside. I couldn't turn it on anymore.
MeeGee suggested I take it to the Apple store. He (being an Apple groupie) even went as far as predicting they'd replace my busted one (at no charge). Shah! Right! As if!
He was right. I walked in to
this store, went up to their customer service station (neatly coined as the Genius Bar), where an Apple "genius" assisted me. The next few moments were ethereal, celestial and almost mystical: the genius gave me a brand new iPhone at no charge!!!
Y0! HERE YE, HEAR ME...if you are into things like environment, collaboration, potential or right-thinking, you've got to visit an Apple store. It is an experience worth experiencing; it's an experience worth duplicating...
wherever you are leading.

And you still walked out without purchasing a MacBook - Geez!
Go and walk in to a Hewlett Packard store and see what happens .... they'll give you a number and make you wait for days before they tell you all they sell are ink cartridges.
Convert already !

Better yet... want to find no customer service at all? Go to Worst(they said best) Buy... Apple has evolved and adapted to the changes, from the rainbow apple to the silver one!
I'm glad I could be of help. And please get a Mac already, you will enjoy this great customer service once you get one.
While getting your new mac book get me one too. Books, being paper products are never too expensive :) Specially the skinny kind :)
If you are getting a new computer, compare a Mac with a PC under the same specs, and Mac will be less expensive and more efficient, (Besides all of the good service)and you'll get a Mac and a PC on the same computer what a deal!
Hey..neat-o! This could almost be a Seth Godin post. Congrats on the new phone, Heather!
Saaahweeeet!
Am I understanding (Her)edes' post correctly?....do you still own a PC?
If so, You just gotta go Mac!!!
Macs rule! I bought one last September and have never looked back.
Lily :-)
Wow! I'm impressed...I've never experienced customer service like that! Maybe next time, I'll just take you with me :)
If this doesn't make you finally ditch HP and switch, I dunno what will!
I had a feeling this post would call all the apple-groupies out of their closets to comment!
Bert - good to hear from you, man! Thx for stopping by!
The Apple Store is fantastic, unless you go during the weekend. It gets so PACKED that I just get annoyed and leave.
Not their fault but it is what it is.
